How We Started
Doula By began the way the best things do — from love. A mother and daughter, both certified postpartum doulas and newborn care specialists, built this agency from their shared calling: to walk alongside families in those tender, transformative early days of parenthood.
Having worked directly with families across New York City and New Jersey, we saw firsthand how much a knowledgeable, caring presence could change the postpartum experience. Not just for the baby — but for the whole family. For the mother recovering and finding her footing. For the partner learning to support. For the household adjusting to a beautiful new normal.
